The Makers365 team got to experience only a day of the week-long festivities, but it was worth the time. Drupalers from all over the world showed up to network, learn and be inspired.
Thousands of Drupal friends from across the globe gather at #DrupalCon Nashville for a week of presentations, collaboration, discussions, knowledge sharing, sprints and celebrating all things Drupal Photo https://t.co/63y4wORZsz by Susanne Coates pic.twitter.com/N2oJtE1YPf— DrupalCon Nashville (@DrupalConNA) April 11, 2018
For those who didn't get to attend the event but who are interested in related content, over 150 recordings are available on the Drupal Association's YouTube Channel. If you're pressed for time, we'd recommend focusing on Dries Buytaert's State of Drupal presentation. You can review this content by reading his blog post, watching a recording (starting at 19:25) or downloading a copy of his slides (164 MB).
Some happy news we're glad to spread - the number of Drupal 8 sites worldwide has grown 51 percent year-over-year. Makers365 is proud to be helping drive this number as a company. Our most recent Drupal 8 project is the launch of Damn Joan. We couldn't be more pleased with this site. It's a bold and modern e-zine built on Thunder, the Drupal 8 distribution for professional publishing. Incidentally, this was our first go with Thunder and we liked it so much, we joined the Thunder Coalition as a Certified Thunder Integrator. Giddy up!
